Session #1 "Bold Faith"

Cole: Race car driver
Cole: Race car driver
Even though he was doing what he loved to do, it C
consumed his time and he was un happy.
Why do you think he was unhappy???
I like when Cole said he dropped to his knees and called out to God.
Do you think at your young age God cares about what your going through???
Of course He does, but I wanted to make you aware of it, because I think sometimes when we’re younger we think life doesn’t matter as much until we get older, but this is not true.
He began to spread the gospel...
Can you imagine that, for one he’s young to be racing, then on top of that he’s preaching to them.
How do you think those he talks to receive what he’s saying???
That’s Bold Faith, to let others know about Jesus no Matt what.
Joby Martin said everyone wants to do something bold. What are some bold things you would do if you could???
Boldness is confidence and Faith in Christ.
You may not feel like you can do things, but ask God to give you the strength.
He wants us to have Bold Faith, and he gives it to us not so the world can look at you, but so that the world may look at Him through you!!!
You and I are needed to help others see Christ in us.
Luke 22:56 ESV
Then a servant girl, seeing him as he sat in the light and looking closely at him, said, “This man also was with him.”
Luke 22:57 ESV
But he denied it, saying, “Woman, I do not know him.”
Matthew 19:26 ESV
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Acts 3:1 ESV
Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
Acts 3:2 ESV
And a man lame from birth was being carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple that is called the Beautiful Gate to ask alms of those entering the temple.
Acts 3:3 ESV
Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms.
Acts 3:4 ESV
And Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, “Look at us.”
Acts 3:5 ESV
And he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them.
Acts 3:6 ESV
But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!”
Acts 3:6 ESV
But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!”

Kenlen: Rejected Student
Kenlen was disappointed he didn’t get accepted.
Kenlen was disappointed he didn’t get accepted.
How do you handle rejection or disappointment???
Sometimes when things aren’t going are way, we need to trust Him, that He’s got our best interests in mind.
So when things don’t go as planned on our life’s journey, maybe it’s not a rejection but a redirection.
I have to believe that God has our best in mind even when it doesn’t feel like it.
Acts 3:7 ESV
And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong.
Acts 3:8 ESV
And leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.
Acts 3:9 ESV
And all the people saw him walking and praising God,
Acts 3:10 ESV
and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
The man had Bold Faith to receive his miracle.
The man had Bold Faith to receive his miracle.
How many friends are headed down the wrong way because we have not had Bold Faith?
How many people are waiting on us to leap up and be healed from the sin that they’re in.
They're waiting to find that joy and peace that only come through a relationship with God.
Matthew 17:20 ESV
He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”
A small amount of Faith is all we need for a powerful & big God.
